Hi folks who know this stuff -

I am just a uke player with a number of ukes. The neck on one of my inexpensive ukes has recently begun to pull away from the body, to which is was glued. The uke is cheap enough that I would not want to pay someone to fix it, but wondering if there is something I could do to reglue the neck.

Any recommendations on type of glue or if this is even something an unskilled person should attempt?

Thanks in advance.

You can probably fix it yourself. Scrape off the old glue in the joint with a knife. Apply new glue and clamp.
A couple photos of the joint would help to see how bad it is.
