Please direct-message me if you have a ukulele you'd be willing to part with. Thanks!

The Risa is the perfect suitcase travel ukulele.
The Flea Fluke is probably backpack-able but you’d want to pack it with t-shirts/ underwear

So the rise pretty much needs to be connected, since it doesnt have projection without a hollow body.

The Risa Stick is loud enough to hear what you are playing. If you are in a hotel room it is not loud enough to be heard in the next room, but you spouse can hear it in a quiet room. But it won't disturb them if they are asleep. It's not as loud as a Godin Multiuke unplugged.

Another good option is an EleUke Bluetooth. You can't hear much unplugged, but it has Bluetooth to play through your phone, tablet, laptop or you can link a pair of Bluetooth earphones and listen to your playing.

Yes, the Risa Stick needs to be amplified.
