Anyone build with butternut for the back and sides?

I was wondering if anyone out there had more information on using butternut wood for the back and sides? Is it easy to work with and what type of sound, etc?

It is called, from days of old, "white walnut" and the tree is botanically closely related to the black walnut, so I would expect it to be pretty similar to black walnut, which handles easily. Black walnut with a redwood top has produced some excellent results for me.

I like butternut. I used it in a solid body electric guitar. I saved all the scraps and have been using it up as blocks. It is quite soft. It is easy to work but prone to burning.
