Microphone in the top?

Hello, so I bought this tenor electro acoustic ukulele, it showed to have a microphone in the top right behind the bar. Doesn´t the microphone dampen the vibrations of the top?
I mainly use it acoustically.

I don't know about your specific microphone, but normally it is a very light-weight piezo bar or disc, which shouldn't affect tone or volume in any perceptible way.

Some uke pickups use a piezo strip placed under the saddle in the bridge.
Others have a single or double piezo patch that is adhered to the back of the soundboard top.
Another type, like the aNueNue has both a pickup and a microphone.
And I think there is one that is only a microphone.

The parts that attach to the underside of the soundboard are very light in weight and only affect the vibration of the top a very tiny amount.

To be honest, I'm not clear about where the microphones attach.
