NUD - Vintage Early 30s Kamaka Pineapple

Here was a must have on my list. I wanted an early kamaka pineapple. I really wanted one with the pineapple painted on but that drives the price up by $1000+. Im pretty sure at one point mine had it but it was removed. This was listed as 30's but could be earlier. When I first got it, it had aquila strings and had some buzzing. I changed to some martins and it sounds great. Very unique compared to the vintage martins, gibsons ect. The case is obviously not the original case. I doubt Ill find an original pineapple case. I hope everybody enjoys seeing my vintage collection. All acquired since January.

always loved the blue Kamaka decal. Was hoping they would do a custom retro with that one inlayed on the head stock, New Zealand abalone would look spectacular.

I have to imagine it was there at one point....I havent seen one this old without it....so probably rubbed off or was refinished at some point
