When I saw the theme this came to mind immediately, but I find it a hard song to do.
Even a whole step down, here is it anyway: U2 - Ultraviolet.

I wrote an original featuring radio waves.
I'm wearing my Manet's "The Balcony " T shirt with added ukes courtesy of uke4ia Jim. Excellent prize!
Thanks for the theme Del old boy.

    My heart is a radio
    I'm sending out waves
    frequency don't matter
same for the lost or saved
I don't care what you believe
    when the rivers run dry
I got a well to share
and a raincloud back of my eye

    My heart is a radio
    you can listen for free
it's got a rhythm and pulse
little boat out on stormy seas
    Listen for the reel
    Listen for the slap
    Listen for the crash
    We're on a Nantucket Sleighride
    And I hope
    We're all coming back

4am to dawn the program is called ' One Regret"
    There's a target audience
    I haven't found yet
So Julie put your headphones on
twist the dial forward fifteen years
    you'll find a different man
to the one that bought you those tears

    my heart is a radio
    I'm sending out waves
    my intentions were good
    but more rocky than paved

Well, I KNOW that, Sir ... it was just a colloquialism! Never, in my life have I come across a gas-powered microwave!

    Hell’s teeth!

I think I might do that well known Fab Four song McCartney wrote in his little known other job as a Radiologist, “I’m Looking Through You”.
