57 channels and nothing on... or it seems that way, for everybody is broadcasting the same news.
For the sake of your mental health turn the TV off and do some meditative bird watching. Bird watching is a contemplative art... waiting for the birds to arrive... observing what they do... their modes of flight... what they eat... what they look at... and why they depart all of a sudden. You can learn a lot from birds.

Yeah, we've got channels too - normal, normal+1, HD, HD+1 - & they count them as 4 different channels - it's just a great big con job!

TV is increasingly rare where I live. Network television is fading away, with Boomers perhaps the last widespread holdout generation. Most people use their phone or computer to watch NetFlicks, Prime, PornHub and YouTube and, of course, gaming.

Yeah, I got ducks out my from window. Constantly trying to kill one another, especially males taking out the ducklings of other male ducks.
