Except if you live in Hongkong

I saw a ukulele on an auction site with no bids and no reserve, so I bid and won at 1 euro.
The backside was a shipping fee from China of 75 euro but still an ok price.

The ukulele has a solid spruce top(AA) and rosewood sides, okoume neck and bone nut and saddle.

It is in gloss finish, with a small armest and abalone purfling

The tuning machines are really smooth and easy. An the sound is good as well.

The only niggle is a slight damage to the edge of the nut, And the fretboard is a brown wood coloured black but tastefully made.

All in all, I am very happy with the chance I took..

I'm glad you like it and that it sounds good.
The looks remind me of Kmise solid top mahogany back and sides laminate models (with the whale and stars as fret markers.

Congratulations. I always am Leary of those buy for a Euro or few dollars deals. Glad to see even with freight bill , it worked out

Very nice looking Uke , I’m glad it sounds good.

Everything was above board. The shipping price was clearly described and the auction site withheld payment until I confirmed reception.

Maybe the seller is new in the auction market, so he didn't set a minimum price and other buyers didn't trust a new guy. I took a (small)chance and was rewarded ;-)
