Dry Skin

I've used anhydrous lanolin for years, but you likely need to order it from a compounding pharmacy, I've never found it just in stores. Ideally, before bed, apply anhydrous lanolin, then some kind of lotion (because the lanolin is sticky), then socks or thin cotton gloves over your hand, and leave on overnight. Anhydrous lanolin is magic: works amazingly on cracked heels, cracked lips, anything that's super dry and cracked. I've used a bit with cream/lotion and work it in after washing my hands. It's also really good for eczema. And I've tried all sorts of things otherwise (like shea butter, which is good, but the anhydrous lanolin is even better, I think because it's a fairly close approximation to our skin's natural oils) BUT if you're allergic to wool, you may react to it, since it's wool oil from sheep.
