    Default Aloha from Minnesota!

    Hi beautiful people,

I bought my daughter a cheap ukulele to plunk around on a couple of years ago. During quarantine, I picked it up thinking I'd at least learn a few chords. It has been so much fun, I have been playing every single day for over a month now. It has been much easier for me to learn than guitar. Now I need my own uke so my daughter can have hers back, haha. I also play piano (not super well) and flute (pretty well). Pleased to meet you!

Welcome to the Forum. A friendly place to hang, exchange thoughts and information with other uke players, and sometimes learn new stuff.

From a player on the dark side of the Big Muddy—Wisconsin! (Sparta, near La Crosse.)

Have fun. And get your own uke. Your daughter wants hers back!

There is a subtle yet profound difference between the learning of something and the knowing of that thing.
You can learn by reading, but you don’t begin to know until you begin to try to do.

Aloha and welcome. The uke is also great for long Minnesota winter blues, don’t chat know. Enjoy
