It is all a slippery slope. Whenever I would drive up to Lansing, park next to the river, and go to Elderly Instruments...I wouldn't even touch the ukuleles because I have ukuleles; I know what they sound like. I would point a finger to some ukulele that looked pretty, send it downstairs to be set up and then I'd go and play with the stand-up basses and other singular instruments. When the ukulele was ready I would drive to a steakhouse and get a Sculpin IPA. Musical instrument acquisition is a lovely way to spend your time and money.
