Default Softly, As In A Morning Sunrise

When I checked Wikipedia for this tune I was very surprised to learn that this was originally part of an operetta.
But I decided not to delete my recording at that point!
So here it is, a 92 years old song played by my Les Paul Kiwaya uke, Kala UBass, an EPiano and some drums, recorded this saturday morning.
With a lot of birds coming in from the mic of the ukulele.
And although I think I can play the piano much better than bass and uke I don't get the piano to sound as jazzy as the other two...

Thanks for that, WS64. It took me right back to the early 1960s, enjoying the Modern Jazz Quartet in concert in Manchester, England.

    Nicely done!

A stellar performance, Wolf! Haven’t heard that song in years. Thanks for sharing your arrangement of it with us.
