Introducing the brand new John S. Kinnard Steel String Kiku. This six string instrument is the same body size as our baritone and incorporates a 19-3/4 scale length along with a 1.75" nut. It's basically the same size as our regular Kiku however the nut width is sized for steel strings as opposed to nylon/fluorocarbon strings.

This Kiku-S is constructed of a Claro Walnut body with a Carpathian Spruce top. It has a beautiful figured Walnut neck and uses a dual acting truss rod under the Rosewood fretboard. The bridge is Rosewood and has Ebony bridge pins. It uses Gotoh open gear tuning machines and also sports a side sound port. You can see photo's, sound samples and more information at:

That is a gorgeous instrument, Kevin. Somebody gonna be happy!

Very nice! Is it tuned linear or reentrant?

What a beaut that is Kevin! If I could, I would :) Really a bit of a dream instrument for me, but I'd have to sell off at least 2 ukes and maybe 3 to afford it. I agree with above comments, someone is going to be very happy ~
