Saw this one on the Flea Market Music Marketplace site. A custom Kamoa tenor, which had a pyrography (wood burning) design added by the artist/owner.

Especially a burnt one!

You may not have noticed, but the pyrography was on all sides of the body not just the top. The side shot shows it best. He used it to create a texture and then, it would appear, a finish was used to create an overall uniform color.
I can see why it took 80hrs of work. I think this design was one of his best. Not my cup of tea, but quite an impressive piece of design.
The photos on the FleaMarket site blow up rather large. But that didn't carry over to these. They are still there
