Got a Gator Journeyman case recently for my Martin soprano, one of the white burlap hardshell cases, $50.00 shipped as a slight blem, and it is fine: nice and small, great snug fit, strap rings, strap included, with cool cushy blue interior. Lots of padding. Now to apply an amber shellac finish to the burlap, before it gets all dirty. The cheap eBay tweed case I had it in previously was huge by comparison, the uke really floated around in that one.

Yes, the Gator cases (both the Journeyman and the standard black hard school) fit those vintage ukes beautifully.

Show some pics when you get it all done!

Geesh , the shellac is such a good idea . Yes , please post some pics.

Have you treated the case yet? I am really curious to see pictures

I'll second this.

I have the same case in a concert size for my Martin C1K. It's an interesting alternative to letting the burlap age and show it's wear, which was my original thought when I purchased the case.
