Uas strikes again. Now that I’m loving my 5 string, I want to explore a six string tuned with the dbl octave on c and a. Looking to spend under $600. Any suggestions? I checked out the meles, but it looks like their strings are doubled up rather than change in octave. Anyone have a 6 string at that price point they love and would recommend?

There is a (used) Pono six-string on Reverb, listed for $490. I don't know if it meets your double-octave stringing need, but you could message the seller to find out.
