For those who have not yet watched the 'Ukulele Friends Hawai'i Facebook Zoom meetings on Mondays and Thursdays, you should give them a try. The panel talks about all aspects of the 'ukulele and music played on this wonderful instrument. Recent topics have included Benny Chong, Roy Sakuma, Jesse Kalima and Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Special guests attend most of the meetings to talk and reminisce. Lyle Ritz and Bill Tapia will be discussed in the near future. You do not have to be a member of Facebook to watch these panel discussions.

Thanks for posting this Bill. I'll have to check them out.

Really great teachers and performers. They rarely give workshops in my area; so glad to catch them all online today.

I'm watching this right now. Just saw Brittni, whose playing I love. I hadn't realized the back story on why she took a break, and am relieved that she is back to performing now.
Theses streams have been great, and I really appreciate all the work that goes into this.

There was a paypal link to contribute, and the $ would be split between all the performers. Does anyone have the link?
Musicians are going to have a difficult time earning a living for quite some time, I'm afraid, and I'd like to at least contribute a little bit to the fund.

At the Chee Maisel website you can download the package and donate more or less for it. Also for each performer separate links may be provided.

On their website, you can buy a program and the proceeds go to the artists: http://www.cheemaisel.com/presents

Thanks for the donation link.

I found the stream very inspiring, and spent the rest of the day playing ukulele as much as I could.
I donated, in appreciation of all their work, and for inspiring me.
Now, back to ukulele, until it's family time. :)

The video and audio weren't working for me yesterday. The stream stalled, except for the chat :D

So, I'm working my way through the festival at my leisure. I'm glad you all loved it so much. I've got a lot to look forward to.
