He is my method for gluing burl veneers to the backs of my headstock.

This works with and is a good method for any wood, not just burl.

Excellent video.. Two questions: What epoxy do you use? What is that thin foam padding?
 
I've always wondered about headstock veneers with friction tuners . Seems like a bad idea with all the tightening and loosening of the tuners.

I agree the more layers you have the more problems could happen with friction tuners.

However, I would never install friction tuners on any instrument I made....cuz they suck... and its' 2020 not 1720
