Help IDing Please

Hello all -

I was given this instrument years ago and have not been able to find out anything about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It’s a mandolin (or maybe an octave mandolin).

I have one as well, the guitar-shaped mandolins! There's american and wider british ones, and they're better than you'd think. They're built for flating bridges and steel strings and they have narrow fretboards, so there's not much luck in trying to turn them into four or eight string ukuleles, but they are quite remarkable as mandolins.
