This video shows some CNC'ed tenor uke fingerboard Allied Lutherie did for me.

I'm new to building--only recently started watching videos, so sorry if this is a newb question.
How are frets installed in a stopped slot like that? In the videos I have watched, they have been installed over sized and then clipped and filed.

Also, what diameter bit did they use?

1- I don't know the bit they used for the fret slots but its wide enough for typical fretwire tang.
2- The purfling tang I know is .023" as I asked it to fit my .020" purfling. (its probably they used this bit for the fret slots).
3- THis is a bound fretboard, so you cut the tang off- it takes about 5-7 times longer to fret a bound fretboard .

Thanks.
Looks like they do really nice work.
