Hello, I wondered if you can compare the sound of your resonator to say a National all metal or Gold Tone all metal? I have a National concert, bright and brassy, have played a Gold Tone which was a little more mello. But never a wood reso. Help me know what to expect from yours. Thanks, Rick

Not bright and brassy, much more mellow. I like it for finger picking, each string seems equally loud and distinct. Some resos, particularly metal bodied ones, sound more like a banjo at times, this one is much more subtle. Gill ukes are very well made and now rare. I bought this from Gary when he decided he could no longer play, his personal player.
