aNueNue USA Summer Sale!!!!

And back to aNueNue - there was once a Cedar top Moon Bird I seem to recall. Are they still being made? I have a feeling they were a custom order.

There were a couple, yes. These were exclusive orders from aNueNue by World of Ukes so there were very few of these made. For example: https://worldofukes.co.uk/tenor-ukuleles/anuenue-ut-214-cedar-moon-bird-tenor-ukulele-exclusive

They also made a more affordable version of these called the Light Bird: https://worldofukes.co.uk/tenor-uku...clusive-light-bird-concert-and-tenor-ukuleles

aNueNue do make some other cedar top models but those are the only ones in the Bird series that I know of.

edit.

I was a minute too late :D

I would love to hear one of those (UT-214) in person.

I believe that Andrew, on a Ukulele Site podcast a while back, said that there are some cedar top Birds coming soon. I am afraid I don't recall which episode, but I asked the gang about them when I purchased my spruce Moon Bird earlier this year. At that point (late April, 2020), the word from Anuenue was that production had been delayed due to COVID-19, but that they are coming.

+1- my Moonbird sounds and plays as well as my other tenor ukes, most of which cost 2-3 times more--

Another +1 for this. My Moonbird is easily in the same class with any "K" brand I have played. (I am afraid I don't have any experience with the lower-end of Aunuenue's lineup.)

This is aNueNue's American branch office/reseller. They represent the company in the US and sell directly to the public.

I don't know if they act as the wholesaler to US retail stores as well.

aNueNue USA are direct sales in the USA they do not sell to retail store in US having Kalei and Corey check the ukes is quality control by great players that will be hard to find IMO...

Better investment is a Kamaka.

Uncle Chris and the Kamaka team's instruments are undeniably the perfect investment! If you feel like playing something else, try our entry-mid level instruments, they won't break the bank and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun playing them! :)

What I wonder about is how can a business be successful selling one brand of ukulele?

I think the other member's reply sums up the perfect answer for you. Quality is what we trust and believe in, regardless of where we're from, as long as we call Hawaii our home and Ukulele our passion.

Regarding the Cedar top bird series, we have not yet decided on the official release date and platform, please check on our website and/or social media for more updates soon!
