I’d never heard of this commemorative ‘ukulele before, so I googled it and found this link to the model when it had been available on The Ukulele Site web site: www.theukulelesite.com/kala-ka-srt-ma-michael-aratani-mgm-commemorative-tenor-ukulele.html. What a beautiful ‘ukulele; wish the sound sample of Corey playing was still accessible.

Mike was such a legend - down here in Australia 12 years ago there was very little information on quality ukes, but there was Mike!!!!
I once bid on a uke just to see what the exchange rate would make it in Australian dollars but - whoops! actually won it. I sent him an email explaining my actual intentions and he took it in his stride and cancelled the transaction. Seemed like a very chilled guy.
