Today is another in the recent run of Bandcamp Fridays, when Bandcamp gives its usual cut of sales to the musicians. There's more information via that link, along with a calendar showing future Bandcamp Friday events.

There's a lot of excellent stuff on the site (often available as FLAC downloads rather than the lossy formats of some other providers) and you can search for music tagged as ukulele quite easily. Plenty of well-known names such as Phil Doleman, along with others to discover. If you've been thinking of buying some new music then today is a good day to do it and support independent acts during a difficult time for performers.

Awesome! At all other times too, buying music through Bandcamp still gets a lot more of the money to the musician than iTunes or Amazon or, God forbid, Spotify or Pandora, which is straight up exploitation. Don't believe anything you hear otherwise.

Btw, speaking of supporting ‘ukulele musicians, it recently came to my attention (last night, as a matter of fact!) that our own Jon Duncan, a former Mod here on the forum, just released a new album on Bandcamp — congrats to you, Jon!!!! Thrilled for you, brother!!!
