String conditioner or lubricant

Not sure why this keeps getting deleted, it shows up in the post preview but not the post. I apologize as this is my third attempt. Does anyone use string conditioner such as
 
It can be strange how things get posted here. I'll get an email about a new post, and I can read it in my email, but when I look on UU, it isn't here.

When I started uke about five years ago, someone recommended Dunlop 65 string conditioner. I have a bottle, but I haven't used it much.
 
I've never even heard of string conditioner. :D
 
It helps more with wound strings as “gunk” gets trapped in the windings and the sound can become dull. With plan nylon or florocarbon it is not necessary, a dry microfibre cloth easily removes any oil and or residue
