Visiting LV for a few days and wondering if anybody knows of a good place to buy a uke. Looking for something a bit more special or unique than

Hi there,

My store Wood Vibrations Music is in Las Vegas. We are appointment only and authorized dealers of Kanile’a and Pono ukuleles. Please visit our website and or contact me. I would absolutely love to meet you and have you try some of the instruments in stock.

Thanks!
Josh

OK, wow! I lived in LV from Nov 2000 till Sep 2016. I didn't know of any Ukulele shops there then. In fact, Guitar Center and Sam Ash were about it so far as I knew. It sounds like things have improved there since I left.

It's a great opportunity that I also like. I'm sure there are not only casinos in Las Vegas but also many stores that sell fine ukuleles. I plan to visit them next summer. To be honest, I'm going there for the casino because it's a dream come true for me since I'm a gambler, and poker has been my game for a long time now. At the moment, [LINK REMOVED] It often brings me emotions because I always try to change the strategy, which has led me to win more often. I really enjoy it, which is why I am interested in visiting local casinos.
Methinks this is spam for the online casino linked in the message.

Укулеле всегда был одним из моих любимых инструментов, в основном потому, что это веселый и легкий инструмент для игры.
Hmmm, could this be spam? From another "new member?"

Definitely. You might want to delete the link from your quote - they're trying to boost their search rating by creating links from real sites.

It is funny, I grew up in Las Vegas but I've only been in a casino twice in my life. Once a great aunt was visiting and we went to Circus Circus. And once as an adult I went to the Sahara at something like 3 a.m. after work to get $1.99 breakfast. My father was a police officer and the strip and downtown is where bad people went. Good folks, such as we counted ourselves, went to Lake Mead, Mt. Charleston, etc. If we wanted musical instruments, our music teacher either got them for us or told us where to go.

When I lived in LV, the casino floor was something I'd walk through to get to somewhere else, like a restaurant, shop, or theater. I never gambled, and never understood why other people would want to. The local casinos would fill up on the days the social security checks came in. I had a friend that got hooked on slots so bad that he had to sell his house and move away. It's all very sad.

I have lived in Vegas for almost 3 years and avoid going to the strip as much as I can.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note;

I am a professional musician and teacher located in Las Vegas. I started my store Wood Vibrations Music in 2019, with online sales and in-person appointments.

I am the owner, sales person, social media director, shipper, set up person and more :)

I am extremely picky about what my store sells and stand behind everything 100%. My focus is intermediate-advanced level classical guitars & ukuleles.

20 years playing experience, with 8 years experience selling and working with other instrument manufactures.

My store is not associated with any casinos haha, off the strip Vegas is just like any other suburban town :)

I am an authorized dealer for the brands my store sells and pride myself on offering fantastic customer service.

Thanks everyone!

I have that mid 1970s TV series VEGAS on DVD with Dan Tanna. Sometimes he goes into pawn shops and there are ukuleles on the wall! In Hawaii, Las Vegas is known as the 9th island.
