Any S.F. Bay Area Virtual/Zoom Uke Groups??

Hi,

We moved to the Bay Area just before the shelter in place orders so I never got to check out any local Uke groups. Are there any virtual or zoom ones for folks in the S.F. Bay Area??

The Peninsula Ukulele Group (PUG) is based on the midpeninsula. Third Wednesday and third Saturdays are the current days for virtual zoom groups. Check us out!

Check out the San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion. We're live every Saturday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Pacific Time, with two different recurring meetings, Virtual Ukulele Rebellion (which uses the Daily Ukulele books) and Bronco Billy's Virtual Jam (which has its own music book), on alternating Saturdays. Both meetings screenshare music and encourage participants to lead songs.

Aside from the displacement imposed by our geographic time zones, there's no reason to limit yourself to Bay Area Zoom events.

I live in Utah and jam weekly with Ukulele Catskill (New York) and Tiki Dave (Hawaii). My local Salt Lake City group jams online monthly.

There are so many online choices.

Oakland Uke Jam. They've also posted some volumes of tunes to play. I'm a beginner and they sometimes play way out of my level though. check them out. During "normal" times they've met in a local library and up in Redwood Park

I'm also from the Bay Area. Check out San Jose Uke Club. They have a zoom coming up on Dec 16th at 2 pm

Also, Mike Da Silva from Berkeley still holds a Zoom at 6:30 pm on Mondays. I'm a beginner and still working up the courage to call in one of these days.
