Hey! I just started playing the ukulele a few weeks ago, on a Kamoa soprano my spouse bought on vacation in Kauai basically as a souvenir many years ago. (Started a thread in Uke Talk to find out more about it.)
I played guitar pretty seriously in school 20 years ago — was the guitarist in high school jazz band, so I didn’t suck! But I haven’t played a note since.
That said, I feel like I’m picking up the uke pretty fast because muscle memory is kicking in.
I’ve been lurking and learning here for a few days, and I’m looking forward to participating and learning more.
