Tenor Kanilea K-1. $650 plus shipping and insurance

Sorry, trouble with posting and emailing on this forum. Kanilea K-1. $650 plus shipping and insurance

I didn’t think I’d ever want to sell this but I play mostly bass these days and my Pono chambered electric baritone. I just don’t play this and could use the money for some other things.

It has a beautiful buttery sound, a great Kanilea.

It’s in great condition except for a light belt indentation on the back which is hard to see unless you turn it in the light. Look at the photo. I couldn’t really show it. Otherwise excellent condition.

If you’ve heard of Stephen Strauss, he heard me play it and was amazed by the beauty of the sound. Mike DaSilva gave him a very special custom James Hill tenor and still he was impressed by this.

Nice hard case in which it will be shipped.

PayPal only. Ships from Honolulu. I’m the only owner.

I’ll try in a few hours. It’s a very minor belt indentation. I’ll see whether I can get it to show up in a photograph.

What is the scale of this Uke--perhaps I am missing something obvious, and if so, I am sorry.

I have a Kanile'a K-1 and I love it. Beautiful to look at. Great sound. I really like the flatter neck. Makes it very easy to play.

Sold to a fellow who just purchased a very beautiful tenor with a fantastic sound. I highly recommend Kanilea. I’m just downsizing and focusing on bass and occasionally my Pono chambered electric baritone, another very fine instrument.
