Coconut Ukulele

I'd be worried about African or European swallows carrying it off.
 
I think Chuck Moores first uke was made from a coconut.

Yes Patrick, I made a couple dozen, from single shells to four shells cut and bonded together. Samoan coconuts are quite large and work best. Sound wise they left a lot to be desired but they gave me my start. That was 35 years ago.

Well, maybe I should buy this as a start and work my way up to buying a Moore Bettah.
