You probably know that The Rebel (Yes, "The" is part of the name) is made in Thailand by the same talented people who make the KoAloha Opio.
A few days ago, I received a Super Soprano Mango Double Creme from a member here. "Super" is a good name for it. It's amazing. The construction is so beautiful that it looks like it was formed out of a single piece of material. Strung with low-G, the sound is absolutely beautiful. It's almost like an 8-string, with very long sustain. And yes, it is loud.
If you want to add another uke to your family, I highly recommend The Rebel.
