Looking for a fletcher jd1 tenor guitar but I'm open to other models as well. Also if anyone here has played one I would appreciate any input you have to offer.

I owned one many years ago. It's a wonderful instrument, just really beautifully built and a pleasure to play. It's intended for GDAE octave mando tuning, but with the small body you don't get a big booming low end - the sound is more reminiscent of a tenor banjo (there are several youtube videos of Irish musicians playing them that I think gives the sense I'm talking about). I tuned it standard CGDA and it really sang. If you've played a Kala tenor guitar or one of those old small-bodied Regals you'll have some sense of the tonal range, but the Fletcher is far superior (which is not a knock on the others at all).
