Well if it’s any comfort I picked number #1 by a mile. It had a sweeter more complex sound to me. Tone preference is very personal, they both sound great and congratulations on your new to you Martin.
I saw listened to this when you first posted but didn't have a chance to commnet yet. I thought #1 sounded a bit fuller and more complex finger picked but that number #2 sound clearer, punchier, and more filled out in the mids strummed. I propbably would have gone with #2 also, but tough call.
But I will certainly love mine.
