What's the point of a harp ukulele? At first, I thought there was another set of strings running up the harp, but there isn't. Is the design just for looks, or does that extra chamber add resonance?
Without strings the extra chamber still adds resonance - but extra strings add a whole new dimension. E.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEHqlBb94GQ
All the harp ukes I've seen have strings on the harp, usually four in a lower register to fill out the sound.

Funny. Most that I've seen have no strings. That's why I posted this question.
