I think these books are excellent for anyone wanting to play chord melody arrangements. There are easy songs and songs that may challenge. It's a great collection of musical standards and most arrangements seem to work with both high and low G strung ukuleles.

Are his chord melody books instructional or just a collection of chord melody song sheets?
You get tabs and standard notation, arranged and copyrighted by Mike Lynch
The books are strictly notation and tablature sheets. However, there are dozens (hundreds?) of instructional YouTube videos that Mike had recorded and many of those are tunes that are included in the books.
