Hey friends! Back after a long hiatus.

Any one have suggestions on a Baritone Uke to get for low G classical fingerstyle ?

Appearance of zero importance.

Clarity and beauty of sound of high importance.

Willing to open the wallet if needed, but would really prefer below $1K.

What would you recommend? TIA

I was never in the market for a baritone until I saw saw a Graziano modeled after a flamenco/classical guitar. He used the same woods and overall look of a classical guitar. I play classical fingerstyle as well, and this uke is amazing for that. I know that doesn't help your search, but I wanted to share. HMS always seems to have some nice baritones in stock.

HMS has a nice selection of Pono Baritones that might fit your requirements. All their instruments have sound samples posted with them, so you can let your ears do the shopping.

Another intriguing Baritone is the LoPrinzi Custom Solid Cherry on sale at Uke Republic. It looks interesting but no sound sample posted. I'm sure if you called Mike, he could play it for you.
