Hey!

I'm Kris. I'm currently learning the ukulele and the mandolin, but have found myself playing the uke a little more due to it being easier on the fingers (still trying to build calluses). So far, I've just been playing a lot of songs using minimum amount of chords. I will say that coming from playing guitar first, I really love how easy playing F chords is on the uke.

Hi Kris. Welcome to the forum.

F chords are easier, but the E chord 1402 is difficult. Many of us use a 4442 or 9877 E chord. (I'm not a guitar player. But it did try to play guitar many years ago.)

Enjoy your instruments.

Yeah, I think I've been using the 4442 E chord as well. I'll have to try the 1402 version and see how it feels.
