Hey-- I like it---found a cord/tab sheet on ultimate guitar. I'll have to give some time and practice. Good tune for the fingers to do their work.

thank you - no this is a Guy Clark song - i wish i could write them like this - his stuff is brill imho

when doing my homework on it i saw a beaut live version by Guy and another guitar player where Guy just forgets the lyrics for the second verse - he keeps playing and thinks and to the applause of the audience they come to mind and he keeps going

Guy Clark played with Verlon Thompson for some time. I've seen Verlon Thompson play live. He is still around, was gigging and teaching before Covid. Verlon still puts on a good show and he is far from bring a young man. Well traveled with lots of adventures for sure.
