Gerardg , You are far too neat and tidy in your workshop..you put us all to shame....I notice that you even keep your Rolex Daytona covered to keep out the dust.....Nice job you did on the sander as well.Homemade.

carpentry workshop, where I am allowed to work on my drumsander sometime...
No Rolex, only Wenger watch...

Gerard G - that is a nice little sander!
I built a similar one to fit into my basement shop. I found the plans on woodgears.ca Mattias builds all kinds of machines, even a bandsaw - from wood.

A cheap version of the safety planer in Australia. I needed to tighten up the screws but it seems to work great so far.
