Default Low G string for my Martin 1T IZ tenor.

I would like your opinion for a low G string to replace the high g that came with the M625 set on my Martin IZ Tenor.

No Aquila red and no wound strings please.

    Thanks!

If you just want a single string I'd try this one

If you want a set, you could get a whole set there. Living Water is also really good

Maybe try the 3-pack of low G Fremonts from Lucy's Ukes on eBay, one wound, 1 Blackline, 1 clear, a bit of variety. I'm still working on the Soloist, but will be trying one of the other 2 soon.

I ordered a Fremont Medium Black Line low G. I have one on my Concert and it plays and sounds good. If for some reason I'm not happy I have a "second set" of Worth Browns that are left over from when I put them on my other Tenor.

    Thanks for the replies!
