I have owned an older Bruko Number 6 (without the "sandable" saddle), and it was a beautiful instrument, very meticulously constructed, very good intonation. As I recall, the frets were imbedded directly into the neck, without a separate fingerboard slab. In that regard, it reminded me of my first Fender Stratocaster (1973) with maple neck, and frets directly imbedded into its neck-- a very cool feature! I eventually made disposition of mine, due to an over-abundant herd, but it was a GREAT uke! I am not in any way affiliated with Boofa, but this offering looks like a fantastic value (especially with the hard shell case)!
