I ordered a Piezo Pickup Transducer For Acoustic Guitar Violin Ukulele Mandolin and plan on putting it in my Baritone uke. The bari is a LUTU 21 B Lanikai (Tuna uke). I am going to have to drill it for the pick up. Any and all tips, advice, caveats, warnings or encouragement is appreciated.

I would re-post in the uke tech support or Luthier's Lounge sub-forum because the experts and experienced people hang out there.

By transducer, do you mean a pickup that will stick onto the soundboard?

My advice is, if you're going to make a permanent mod to your instrument.. stick to good quality stuff. Transducers like K&K and Peterman cost a bit, but they are worth it for the better sound they produce.

Transducer placement is important... test what part of the soundboard generates good tone by trialing different spots on the outside surface of the soundboard. It will sound similar to how it would sound on the inside.

What kind of output jack?

What kind of adhesive?
