For Sale or Trade.

Beautiful solid cedar top, solid mahogany back and sides. Limited edition. MTSH-C-MS. Grover tuners, side port, slotted headstock, comfort beveled edge, truss rod, radius fretboard and Pono pick-up.

In used, but good condition - just a few surface scratches and minor dings. No case, but will ship well and include a protective gig bag.

Original info on the uke can be read and heard here: https://theukulelesite.com/pono-limited-edition-master-series-cedar-top-mahogany-tenor.html
Was, $1199 new without pickup. $780 plus shipping. States only.

I'm up for a trade as well - looking for a similar quality baritone.

Hi about2, the second sound sample didn't link to anything. Nice playing on the first one.

I have an MTSH-C-MS and I love it. It has really opened up sound wise. The cedar top mellows the sound just a bit, compared to the Spruce/Rosewood.

The sound port works very well. And I love the arm bevel. Makes it very comfortable to play. A terrific Pono tenor.

Classy looking uke. Are you married to the size of a baritone? Because your uke can be restrung with baritone strings or depending on current strings, down tuned to a drop G. I have two solid wood baritones from kelaliuke.com and have tuned some tenors to bari tuning. In my experience and personal opinion, Martin Flourocarbon bari strings and Aquila Nylgut bari strings work well on tenors. You don't get as much body to the sound as a regular sized baritone but you def get more body than regular gCEA because of the lower tuning. You can drop G tune to re-entrant dGBE with Martin Tenor Fluorocarbons as well. My tenors strung as baris are a Kala mahogany lam strung with Aquila bari strings that is my hang on wall / mini-travel bari and a drop G tuned Moku custom solid spruce tenor. Both sound pretty good!

Good point. I have tuned it that way and it’s really nice. And if it doesn’t sell I probably will return it to that tuning. I do like though the fullness of a regular sized bari. I’m honestly quite torn about selling it. Oh the fickleness of we uke players! I may just end up keeping it, tune it dgbe, and call it good. Thanks for the reminder.

Lol. Been there and can relate. A saying an ex gf of mine had for when she was choosing between different outfits to wear, "When in doubt, don't wear it out." It's applicable to ukes too. Wish you the best on your decision.

Uke withdrawn. Thanks for helping me walk away from the ledge.

If you change your mind, I would be very interested. Pm me!
