I'm a baby ukuleleist from Finland. I have been practicing for about a month now with no prior musical knowledge.
It all started when somebody brought up Amanda Palmer's Ukulele anthem, and the lyrics inspired me to get one.
I grabbed a random cheap uke purely based on looks from the nearest music store and expected to learn three chords and nothing more. But little did I know! I'm now in love with the instrument and motivated to learn more. Even the E-chord.
I recently upgraded to lovely Ohana SK-25 and I think it's going to serve me well for a while. Though I'm probably developing UAS as I find myself browsing pineapple ukes almost daily.
