Default The Wind Beneath My Wings

Aloha! Please enjoy my arrangement of Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath My Wings.” I’ve always liked the melody and... soaring (see what I did there?) chorus, but I’m not a super huge fan of the lyrics. That’s okay, though, because I don’t need any more reasons not to sing. ;-)

Anyway, I hope you like it!

Great arrangement, and well played. Your Pono has a lovely tone. It really suits this particular song. Nicely done, LukuleleStrings!

This Pono is my favorite tenor that I own (my favorite soprano that I own is also a Pono) but found when recording that it can really overpower my mic that had been set up previously to work with my Kamaka. I didn’t catch it when I was rolling so there are some spikes in the audio, but it was a good lesson learned for me. I have to be mindful not to play QUITE so aggressively at parts because this Pono is kind of like a grand piano with its voicing. Future videos will be better with this in mind. ;-)

I really appreciate the kind words, thank you!
