Your Favorite Ukulele Woods Not Koa, Mahogany, Spruce or Cedar?

I have a steel string baritone uke I completed building a year or so ago. Back and sides are Bay Laurel (aka Oregon Myrtle). Not only is the figure very attractive, but the case has a delightful smell every time I open it.

Ah yes, it's all about that delightful smell. I love
my ukes to have a good woody smell regardless of the species of wood.

I like my cherry LoPrinzi tenor. I don't know which species of cherry it is so hopefully my disclaimer passes muster with the censors!
