Song Help Request Song suck in my memory

Greetings all, Happy May Day (May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii)

I have a Hawaiian song that I can’t get out of my head (ear worm) that I heard at my local, Cupertino, CA, iKanikapila. I flipped through the Blue Book and tried to search on the internet. No luck since they most list songs by titles not lyrics. I would like to add it to my class. And we don’t meet again until the end of May.

The repeating phrase that I remember is “I wanna go back” and it is not to the Little Grass Shack. I think it is about going back home or someone is homesick.

Have you found out what song it was? Can you give us any more clues that might help ring a bell? I'm assuming it's an English-language song about Hawaii. Were there any references to something in or about Hawaii?
