Default Old timer long time guitar player - New UKE player

    Hey all,

My name is Mitch. Been a long time guitar player.... had 2 Billboard top 40 hits in a band called 'Sneaker'....

Then did some solo stuff, lap steel, fingerpicking (Chet, Tommy etc)

    Soundcloud link here:

Gave it all up 15 years ago.... well, the itch to play crept back in and something I never even considered was UKULELE ..... but I'm HOOKED now !! Loving every chance I get to play.

Started off with mid-level Kala's..... then graduated to 2 of the big K brands....

    Here's my babies:

    Welcome to UU, MitchC!

You've picked up a couple of very sweet ukes, I'm sure that they just beg to be played

    Enjoy!

Holy Smokes on two counts. Your background and the beautiful instruments you have aligned yourself with. Ukulele draws in pros and amateur's alike. Something special about it. Congrat's on being hooked. Sure you will get lots of enjoyment.

Welcome MitchC! Also a long time guitar player here, converted over to uke. Never had a top anything, lol, congrats to you. You'll be an awesome uke player, I'm sure. I loved your guitar playing clips. Btw, (you may know) George Harrison and Tom Petty were both players and big fans of the uke. You've got two very nice ukes with the Kanile'a and the Kamaka. There's a wonderful world of customs to explore as well. Hope you'll consider posting videos in our video section sometime soon. I would love to hear what you'll do on the uke!
