    Default Duke Kahanamoku Pineapple

    Hi everyone!
I have a duke kahanamoku pineapple uke in the original cardboard box. My family bought it when we went to Hawaii in 1971 and it has spent most of its life in the box in a closet. It has the Aloha insignia in it. From reading these threads, I understand it it’s more rare than the standard uke. It’s in excellent condition but very out of tune. Has the original strings. Does anyone know the approximate value of this uke? TIA

    google search = $1500
    ebay search = $1800
    reverb search = $1400

    So....
    Insurance value $2000.
    Retail $2000.
    Private party $1550.

Thank you. But I can’t find this item on eBay, reverb or google. I’m wondering Where you see that? I would love if those numbers are true!

I looked up recent sales on eBay, and there are no pineapples.

Maybe that's why pineapples are $1550.
It takes a time machine to get them.

None of them on eBay, either. I keep looking.
