Hello Guys,

i have a Kala Comfort Edge Tenor Ukulele. It is nice and loud, maybe a bit bright but thats fine. All Solid Cedar and Rosewood.

I have an offer for a Romero Creations "Grand Tenor Solid Spruce Top, Laminate Mahogany Back and sides, but no chance to test it before buying it (too far away). (240 Euro).

I know this are different animals, and its just personal preference,
but i would like to hear your opinion about this ukes. Maybe someone of you played them.

Would you sell the Solid Kala for the Romero "Solid" Top, is it worth it? I just want to keep 1 Tenor Ukulele, because i will built a second one in a workshop this year.

I Play both strumming and fingerstyle.

Why not buy it and sell the one you like less? If you can afford the €240 loan to yourself it seems like your best option.

Your probably right, i guess i will give it a try.

Thanks :)

I totally agree with Ziret's suggestion. For me, however, I would take a Romero over a Kala any day. My Romeros sing. My Kalas are all gathering dust.

@ bellgamin - On the off chance do you have a dusty KA-ATP-CTG Cedar Top - Acacia Tenor you want to part with ?
